The first thing you’ll notice about Business Ball is that we offer free business articles. It begs the question—who the heck are these guys?

We’re business owners just like you are. We’ve been there before, working through long nights when it seemed like everything was going to go under (we still work the long nights). For some of us it did, but we kept at it and now we’re bringing those experiences—the good and the bad—to you so that you can benefit from the hard work we put it. We do this for a simple reason: we care. We know what it’s like and more importantly, other people were there for us as well. When we were down and out, successful business owners helped us with guidance and advice that helped spark our businesses—we want to do the same for you.

Aside from this, whether the economy is booming or busting, small-business owners need to stay connected in order to succeed. This not only leads to beneficial personal relationships, but also a great exchange of information. The simple forwarding of a Web link, recommending a helpful book, or mentioning an absurd anecdote are small ways to help a business succeed. It may not mean instant money in the bank, but without such help, it’s hard to imagine the small-business world without it.
